First Grade Student Guide

The Discover Nature Schools First Grade: Exploring Missouri introduces students to Missouri's animals and habitats such as analyzing the effects of sun's warmth on eastern collard lizards, sound waves produced from the movement of cricket wings, engineering a design inspired from animal armor like the nine-banded armadillo, and exploring structure and function as it relates to different types of bird beaks. 

The lesson pages below are where you can access the online digital lessons and materials for your classroom such as audio, videos, support links. To be able to access the online digital resources, you will need to create an account or log in. Many of the books listed in the curriculum are available on Epic! which offers books online for teachers to use for free.
