Nature Unhooked:
The Discover Nature Schools, Nature Unhooked, is a program for 6th-8th grade teachers. This hands-on, inquiry-based teacher workshop will be an engaging foundation for the Nature Unhooked lessons. The materials are aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. We will discover the local aquatic life and their importance to people and natural communities.

The Discover Nature School (DNS) program, Nature Unhooked, is for 6th-8th grade teachers. It includes engaging, hands-on outdoor learning that focuses on water properties and Missouri ecosystems. It has already been correlated to both the Missouri Learning Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards and is designed to work with teachers' needs and existing curriculums.

It includes engaging, hands-on outdoor learning that focuses on water properties, the water cycle, Missouri's aquatic habitats, food webs, interactions, and biodiversity. It has already been correlated to both the Missouri Learning Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards and are designed to work with teacher's needs and existing curriculums. Additionally, learning outdoors improves student physical and mental health and reduces behavioral issues.
