Nature Unbound includes a student book, science notebook, and teacher guide, to help high school students understand the impact of ecology on Missouri and the world.

The Discover Nature Schools (DNS) program provides teachers in Missouri with no-cost curriculum units that incorporate hands-on outdoor activities featuring Missouri wildlife and habitats. Each unit has been aligned with the most recent Missouri Learning Standards and Next Generation Science Standards and includes a field-tested teacher guide, as well as student books and science notebooks for each student.

Check out the Missouri Department of Conservation's Grades 9-12 Discover Nature Schools Curriculum - Nature Unbound! This training offers teachers the chance to become more familiar with the curriculum lessons, the teacher guide and the student materials – all of which are natural resource management based. Students will delve into population checks and balances, conduct tree inventories, consider the rise of local invasive species, and more!

This workshop covers the Discover Nature Schools program Nature Unbound (9-12th grade), This hands-on, inquiry-based teacher workshop will explore Nature Unbound outdoor activities, featuring Missouri wildlife and habitats. The student materials are aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards.
