Nature Revealed is the pre-kindergarten instructional unit in the Discover Nature Schools series from the Missouri Department of Conservation.

This is a professional development workshop. It consists of a presentation to introduce important facets of the unit:

This Discover Nature School (DNS) program, Nature Revealed, is a curriculum designed for preschool students and includes engaging, hands-on outdoor learning divided into 4 seasonal units. This curriculum focuses on Missouri’s flora, fauna, and ecosystems, which can be separated by 20 different themes such as mammals, insects, trees and forests, birds, energy, and weather. It encourages discovery and a child’s natural sense of wonder.

Nature Revealed is a diverse collection of learning experiences that give Pre-K teachers and parents the planning tools, activities, and resources to stimulate children's sense of wonder of nature.

Join us for a workshop to develop the skills to excel in this free curriculum provided by the Missouri Dept of Conservation. The workshop will take place at the Ozark Regional Office in West Plains Missouri at 551 Joe Jones Blvd.

Time of the workshop is from 9-3pm. Bring a lunch and dress to do some activities outdoors.
