Nature Revealed includes a teacher guide and cut-out images and puzzles to give Pre-K teachers and parents the planning tools, activities and resources to stimulate children's natural sense of wonder in nearby nature.

The newest curriculum in MDC’s Discover Nature Schools series,  Nature Revealed, is designed for preschool aged children.  Based on the Project Construct framework, the Teacher’s Guide will be provided plus other free materials.  Please sign-up for this free, hand's-on workshop.

Nature Revealed is a diverse collection of developmentally appropriate learning experiences that will help young learners discover the connections between nature and everyday living. The activities are arranged by season and are centered on Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Project Construct goals and Missouri Early Learning Goals.

The teacher guide meets state early learning goals and both teachers and parents can use the activities to stimulate children's sense of wonder of nature.

What are the two longest rivers in the United States and where do they meet? Does anything special happen to my drinking water or is it straight from the river? What is a watershed? Join us to learn more about the fascinating waterways of Missouri! In this workshop, you will learn about the ecology of the Missouri and the Mississippi Rivers, their water chemistry, and how human behaviors impact the quality of these rivers.

During this three-hour professional development workshop, educators will participate in a selection of fun and engaging activities and gain information and insight through discussion of select chapters and cross-referenced appendices.
