Join Discover Nature Schools Curriculum Coordinators, Wendy Parrett and Mary Beth Factor, as they introduce the new Kindergarten Curriculum: Bears Through the Season. New features will be discussed, including:
- Alignment to NGSS and MLS and the 3D Components
- Lesson overview including the lesson layout using 5E Model of Learning
- Lessons connected to Missouri-focused phenomenon with black bears as the storyline
- An introduction to the new fully-colored student guide and pages
- Overview of the Kindergarten Teacher Kit and the materials provided to certified teachers
- Overview of the Transportation Reimbursement Application provided for certified teachers
