Nature Unleashed

We will investigate Missouri's fishless pond life, a pollinator's safari, birds in the canopy and our community's wild mammals - all using the DNS activities.  This class will be hands-on, inquiry based; the setting will be both outdoors and inside.  We will reference the Nature Unleashed (Discover Nature Schools curriculum) throughout the course and cover field experiences and funding available to schools utilizing DNS materials and training. All interested youth leaders, homeschool parents and school teachers welcome; these DNS material may be geared to other grade and skill levels. Nature Unleashed curriculum and student books may be ordered for free on the teacher portal prior to the class by Missouri residents.    Feel free to contact Conservation Educator Jeff Cantrell or Andy Rhodes if you have any questions.   jeff.cantrell@mdc.mo.gov    or  Andrew.Rhodes@mdc.mo.gov
