Hunter Education

This workshop is for instructors who wish to volunteer their time as hunter education instructors. They will help the Department expand awareness of Missouri's hunting heritage and serve as representatives of the Department. The primary purpose of the hunter education program is to teach and train Missourians to be safe, knowledgeable, responsible, and involved hunters. This workshop will walk you through the knowledge instruction portion only. It will help you gain knowledge of hunter education and how to set up classes, report time, and conduct a class. A follow up is required that you attend a skills session to observe and become comfortable with the firearms actions.

Please create an account on the Teacher Portal this is where you will order your hunter education books from. Please take a moment to look around the portal before class so you are familiar with it.
