DNS - Nature Unleashed

Discover Nature Schools (DNS) is a hands-on science/conservation education program for K-12 Students. This workshop will cover the Nature Unleashed Pond, Prairie and Forest unit for grades 3-5, including use of the teacher guide, engaging student books, and field investigations that emphasize science practices and are correlated with current curriculum standards. Dress prepared for sections of this workshop which will take place outdoors. Procedures for participation in the DNS grant program that provides funding for science equipment, outdoor classrooms and field experiences related to this unit will also be covered. Portions of this workshop will take place outdoors. Participants should dress for the weather and bring a sack lunch.
