Hunter Education

Hunter Education has reduced hunting incidents and deaths by more than 70 percent since it became mandatory in 1987. The Hunter Education Program provides a foundation in hunter responsibility and ethics; how firearms work and firearm safety; wildlife identification and game care; survival and first aid; firearm-handling skills and hunting techniques; and awareness about wildlife conservation and management.

If you would like to implement the hunter education program into your in-school curriculum, this is the course for you. Join us for a one-day hunter education class that will include how to teach both the classroom and skills sessions to your students.
