Discover Nature — Fishing (DNF) engages students in conservation and aquatic education through classroom instruction and hands-on fishing opportunities. Curriculum is written for grades 3-12.

This program helps students gain the skills and confidence to go fishing on their own. Participants learn about aquatic ecology, fish habitat, and fish identification. They also learn about fishing equipment, casting, rigging a fishing rod, baiting a hook, and proper fish handling.

The Discover Nature Schools (DNS) program, Nature Unleashed, is a curriculum of 8 lessons designed for 3rd-5th grade students to promote understanding of Missouri habitats by exploring food chains and the roles of producers and consumers as well as specialized structures and biotic and abiotic factors. The curriculum supports Missouri Learning Standards (MLS) in science, particularly life science. The hands-on, inquiry-focused lessons provide outdoor learning opportunities where students can explore their own schoolyard. Summative assessments are provided for each unit.

Nature Revealed is a diverse collection of learning experiences that help young students discover the relationship between nature and everyday living. Nature Revealed focuses on hands-on learning with field trip ideas and seasonal activities that will get your preschoolers outside and in nature throughout the year.

The teacher guide meets state early learning goals and both teachers and parents can use the activities to stimulate children's sense of wonder of nature.

The curriculum supports Missouri Learning Standards (MLS) in science, particularly life science.  Summative assessments follow each unit.

Nature Unhooked Student Book features illustrations and activities that help middle school students (grades 6-8) understand, appreciate, and conserve Missouri’s waters. Detailed lessons in the Nature Unhooked Teacher Guide engage students in exploring the properties and effects of water in the environment, interactions in aquatic ecosystems, and the importance of practicing conservation.
