Nature Revealed
Nature Revealed includes a teacher guide and cut-out images and puzzles to give Pre-K teachers and parents the planning tools, activities and resources to stimulate children's natural sense of wonder in nearby nature.
This workshop covers organization of the teacher guide including cross-referenced appendices, best practices in leading nature experiences in early childhood, connections to learning goals, seasonal arrangement of experiences, construction and use of developmentally appropriate science notebooks, and prep and use of manipulatives.
Revealed Workshop for Good Shepherd School for Children
This Discover Nature School (DNS) program, Nature Revealed, is a curriculum designed for preschool students and includes engaging, hands-on outdoor learning divided into 4 seasonal units. This curriculum focuses on Missouri’s flora, fauna, and ecosystems, which can be separated by 20 different themes such as mammals, insects, trees and forests, birds, energy, and weather. It encourages discovery and a child’s natural sense of wonder.

Nature Revealed is the pre-kindergarten instructional unit in the Discover Nature Schools series from the Missouri Department of Conservation. Hands-on experiences in nature help Missouri's children become conservationists for life. The core of Nature Revealed is a rich, diverse collection of developmentally appropriate learning experiences keyed to specific learning centers that will help young learners discover the connections between nature and everyday living. The activities are arranged by season and may be conducted in their entirety or coordinated with another curriculum.
