This is a Hunter Education Instructor training for educators seeking to teach Missouri's Hunter Education course in their school.
This HED instructor certification workshop is for teachers in Ginger Miller's and Mark Miller's counties in the KC Region who have submitted their HED Forms 1a & 1b, plus their background check has cleared. Reach out to your local conservation educator for more information and forms to get started.

Hunter Education has reduced hunting incidents and deaths by more than 70 percent since it became mandatory in 1987. The Hunter Education Program provides a foundation in hunter responsibility and ethics; how firearms work and firearm safety; wildlife identification and game care; survival and first aid; firearm-handling skills and hunting techniques; and awareness about wildlife conservation and management.
