Project Learning Tree for K-8, Nature Unleashed Notebooking

We will investigate the trees, tree adaptations and different habitats of Missouri in a cross-curricular fashion. Science notebooking from Missouri Dept. of Conservation's Nature Unleashed unit will be a foundation of student discovery. Project Learning Tree is a national, award-winning nature activity classroom guide. The guide makes learning fun, while emphasizing to the students how to think, instead of what to think.

Portions of the teacher workshop will be outside so dress for the weather. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch, drinks, and snacks. Registration is required.
