This workshop covers the Discover Nature Schools program Nature Unbound (9-12th grade), This hands-on, inquiry-based teacher workshop will explore Nature Unbound outdoor activities, featuring Missouri wildlife and habitats. The student materials are aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards.

This program includes the following items “FREE” for Missouri Teachers:

• Full-color, illustrated books for each student (Preview available on Teacher Portal)

• Science notebooks for each student

• Teacher guides filled with outdoor activities and lesson plans, that follow the MLS & NGSS aligned content students are reading (Preview available on Teacher Portal)

• Non-competitive grants for field experiences and exploration equipment for your classroom

We will spend half of the day inside learning and the other half out exploring and discussing field experiences. Wear clothes and shoes to go outside and possibly walk through tall grass. Bring sunscreen and bug spray if you would like.
