Discover Nature Schools (DNS) is a hands-on science/conservation education program for K-12 Students. This workshop will cover the Nature Unbound highschool-level unit including use of the teacher guide, engaging student books, and field investigations that emphasize understanding, protecting, enhancing, and managing the biological diversity of Missouri's ecosystems utilizing science practices correlated with current curriculum standards. Dress prepared for sections of this workshop which will take place outdoors. Procedures for participation in the DNS grant program that provides funding for science equipment, outdoor classrooms and field experiences related to this unit will also be covered.
