Get to Know Powder Valley (SLPS only)

Spend the morning at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center, an educational nature oasis in the middle of Kirkwood. Teachers will learn about opportunities with MDC to further engage their students through field trips and field experiences. This workshop will allow teachers to familiarize themselves with Powder Valley and learn about additional resources from MDC. 

This workshop is for SLPS Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers who have previously been trained in the Nature Revealed or Bears curriculum units. This workshop will not provide any certifications. Alternatively, teachers can attend the Nature Revealed training in the afternoon.
