Field Trials

Field trials are organized events, contests, demonstrations, or trials of dogs (whether or not prizes or awards are offered). During these trials dogs may be used to chase, locate, pursue, or retrieve wildlife. 

Field trials are only permitted on specific department areas. A person must be issued a field trial special use permit by the conservation area manager before any field trial event can take place.
