Archery is a fun, lifetime sport that all can enjoy. Learn the basics of archery and how to shoot safely, then practice your newly learned skills under the supervision of Runge staff. All equipment is provided. Registration required. Ages 7 and up.

Archery is the skill of using a bow to propel arrows. It can be used in hunting, but is also a competitive sport and recreational activity. Nearly everyone — regardless of age, size, or physical ability — can succeed at archery.

Location: Cape Girardeau Nature Center
Be right on target as you practice two challenging outdoor sports. Try your hand at using a bow and throwing darts with an atlatl. These sports are not only fun but they also improve focus, hand-eye coordination, and build confidence. This program is designed for homeschool students.

Location: Cape Girardeau Nature Center
Be right on target! Try your hand at archery and experience a fun way to enjoy the outdoors. All archery equipment will be provided. Adult supervision is required for ages 9-17. This program will take place entirely outdoors so please dress for the weather. In the event of high winds or rain, this program will be cancelled.
